Hello! I am a software developer and music nerd. I’ve been working professionally in and around software development for more than 20 years. I’ve been part of two successful startups and currently lead the engineering department at Identiv. I’ve spent a lot of time working on various security products and services - particularly PKI, smart cards and access control. I’ve worked with a broad range of technical stacks: firmware, mobile apps, backend services, web. I’ve spent countless hours working with AWS services to create multi-tenant cloud native systems and I enjoy learning new programming languages.
A lot of this site is dedicated to Instrumap which is a side project of mine written in Go. It runs on Windows and MacOS and allows electronic musicians use their sample libraries with their Akai hardware. Instrumap is one of the fastest and most comprehensive ways to do this - much faster than doing this on the hardware itself.
